Cryotech Deicing Technology announces the addition of Polar Shield TKS In-Flight Ice Prevention Fluid to its current lineup of aircraft deicing products. The new fluid expands on Cryotech's world leading deicing expertise and provides a quality ice prevention fluid to the North American aviation market.

Cryotech Polar Shield is designed to be used in conjunction with a weeping wing system for deicing protection during flight. While it is unadvised for pilots to fly into known icing conditions, at times the situation is unavoidable. The weeping wing system and the fluids designed for in-flight deicing, such as Polar Shield, enable pilots to reach their destination safely when faced with unfavorable weather situations.

Polar Shield meets, in full, the requirements described in DTD 406B. It is triple filtered through one micron filters during production to ensure small particulates do not contaminate the fluid.

"Fluid impurities may clog membranes and prevent even fluid dispersal across the wing. The triple filtration purification process ensures maximized fluid flow through the weeping wing membranes."
