Cryotech E36® Lavatory Antifreeze
Cryotech E36® lavatory antifreeze is a potassium acetate-based freeze point depressant used as a component in aircraft lavatory fluid. Easy to handle, E36 lavatory antifreeze has a low freeze point and is safe for the environment.

Environment
- BOD is less than one-third that of propylene glycol formulations
- Readily biodegradable
- Does not contain glycols or alcohols

Handling
- Polyethylene or stainless steel containers are preferred, otherwise use carbon or low alloy steel
- Best practices include storing totes and drums in areas protected from weather and exposure to direct sunlight
- Application - may be diluted to desired freeze point

- Lavatory antifreeze should not be stored, piped or plumbed through systems that use galvanized, zinc, or brass components
- Generally adds no special disposal concern, but contact your local airport or WWTP for site specific considerations
